Toni Brown, daughter of Hattie Anderson (granddaughter of Charles Chesson and Emma Mae (Skinner) Chesson), is hosting a joint family reunion in Connecticut the weekend of August 9, 2025. She requested my help with rustling-up the Chesson clan, and for help planning the event in conjunction with a couple of her cousins from her Simpson side. I grew up in Queens, NY, but have lived in other areas of the country. I am a pretty easygoing, empathetic introvert by nature. I’m a wife and mother of one, and the daughter of independent-living parents (Gladys (Savage Davis) and Calvin Chesson), born in the period between The Great Depression and the Baby Boomers.
